Specialised for students with developmental delays, physical challenges, learning differences and sensory sensitivities.
Our all-abilities music & dance program uses the Rhythm Works Integrative Dance framework. Rhythm Works Integrative Dance goes well beyond the art of dance. Emerging studies are showing, when combined, movement, sound and rhythm have immense effects on the brain. The Rhythm Works Integrative Dance program uses evidence-based practices from sensory integration, behavioural analysis, and movement safety/kinesiology to provide opportunities for students to practice developmental skills across 5 developmental domains: Physical, Social, Emotional, Cognitive & Language. To our students, the classes are fun, social, and engaging. Behind the scenes, I work hard to ensure class content is purposeful and functional.
Assistive buddies are welcomed and may attend the class with the enrolled student at no extra cost to ensure every dancer has the support they need. An assistive buddy may include parents, guardians, carers, therapists or siblings.
An iconic broadway dance form that uses the metal plates on tap shoes to create percussive and rhythmic patterns.
Students will learn tap basics, building on technique and musical timing as they progress through levels and as their muscle memory develops.
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, partnering, contortion and strength.
Miss Alyshia is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. The Acro Arts syllabus provides students with progressions that enable them to achieve tricks safely and effortlessly. (Exams available on request)
Contemporary/Lyrical is a modern, creative and interpretive dance form. The choreography uses ballet technique to execute movements in order to story-tell or express emotions.
While it explores the ease of movement, it works within the body’s natural alignment and the concepts of flow and weight, rebound and suspension, contraction and release, fall and recovery.
Throughout warm-up exercises we explore each of these elements across the room, floor work and a dance.
Our class content has been carefully designed to ensure it is engaging, fun and functional. Students will develop fundamental movement skills, social skills and self expression all while singing, leaping, turning, playing instruments and jumping. Props are used throughout the class to enhance technique.
Students will follow a similar structured lesson throughout the term to increase familiarity and as the skills develop so will the lesson to challenge their abilities.
Miss Alyshia is aware of developmental goals and milestones due to her role and experience as an educator.
We currently offer Kinder Ballet, Jazz and Acro classes.
Miss Alyshia is trained in Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and Australian Teachers of Dancing, Students will learn exercises from Australian teachers of Dancing syllabus and Progressing Ballet technique in order to develop knowledge of classical ballet techniques and lines.
Hip Hop classes will focus on developing children’s own style and personalities. Students will learn hip hop techniques such as: popping and locking, waving and breaking. A typical class will involve warm, learning new moves/techniques, a dance and a freestyle circle.
Jazz is a vibrant and energetic dance form that is danced to broadway or pop music.
Classes will be structured to include warm up/stretch, body isolations, Jazz technique and a dance. Students will learn turns, kicks and leaps and increase their stamina, co-ordination, strength and flexibility.

A great time for ASD children and good way to burn off some energy (a must for my son). Is the given number suggested by google working ? I have tried calling but the call hasn't got thruPosted on Google Lauren BlythTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Dance 4 All enough! Miss Alyshia, with the support of Daniel and Linda, work so hard to provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for our kids. I have seen such an improvement in both of my children since attending the All Abilities class on a Saturday morning. They are improving in their motor skills as well as increasing their confidence and further developing social skills. Thank you Dance 4 All for bringing such joy to the kids each week! ❤️Posted on Google Tania CammaranoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Dance 4 All and Miss Alyshia enough! Assisted by Linda and Daniel, this team of dancing angels works hard to make sure our kids move their bodies, learn to dance and just have a heap of fun. It’s worth noting that this is a truly inclusive class. I have been to other dance schools which said they were “inclusive” but suggested my autistic daughter have individual lessons till she was ready to join the group. That is not inclusion at all. At Dance 4 All, such a policy would be unthinkable, Miss Alyshia welcomes all children in exactly the same way, and they are all encouraged and supported to take part in the class in whatever way suits them and their needs. Not only do the kids have a great time, but as a parent, you get to connect with other parents who are sometimes on a similar journey. I have made some wonderful and supportive friends in this way. Saturday mornings at Dance 4 All are a joy not just for my daughter, who adores the class, but for me too. I recommend unreservedly!Posted on Google Monica NenadovicTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 5 stars all the way.
